The NSW government has temporarily paused negotiations with SAP for a renewed software sourcing agreement as it develops a new strategy for shared services technology.
The pause on talks, which had been underway since at least last year, comes as the government extends its existing standing offer with the German tech giant for the third time since 2023.
Codenamed C2601, the current arrangement grants agencies access to SAP enterprise planning system software products for use in finance, human resources, payroll and customer relationship management.
