IP Australia re-ups with SAP in $10m HANA upgrade

IP Australia will upgrade its core SAP-based finance system under a multi-year project that will cost almost $10 million to head off a support cliff from the German software supplier.

The agency, which administers intellectual property rights like trade marks, patents and design rights, is a long time SAP user and one of many in Canberra making the shift from SAP’s ECC6 to S/4HANA.
