Australia’s mission impossible: What next if we choose to accept?

Ask any gathering – at a barbeque, in a boardroom, a conference hall or a classroom – for a show of hands as to who wants capable government, public-spirited business and industry, and civil community to come together in a mission-oriented approach to solve big economic, environmental, and societal problems of the 21st Century?

The response is a near unanimous ‘We do!’, as many fondly recall the extraordinary 1960’s US space mission to the moon and back.
