InnovationAus Awards 2022: Meet our outstanding finalists

There is a fresh wave of optimism breezing through the industry right now, hard on the heels of the Jobs and Skills Summit in Canberra.

Last week was arguably the first time that tech and innovation leaders have been welcomed into the mainstream conversation of a national summit on an equal footing to typically dominant industries like resources, banking and finance, property, retail and tourism.

A new government with an Industry minister in Ed Husic who actually wants the job has brought with it new energy and confidence.

And into this heady optimism that announce the semi-finalists in the 2022 InnovationAus Awards for Excellence, an outstanding collection of Australian companies being honoured across 11 categories. And the finalists, selected from a record pool of entries, really are outstanding.

2022 InnovationAus Awards for Excellence

“The InnovationAus Awards for Excellence were held for the first-time last year, born in a pandemic and bursting to get out into the world,” InnovationAus.com publisher Corrie McLeod said. “The energy and enthusiasm to celebrate smart people doing smart, interesting things was palpable.”

“This year we have ratcheted things up a notch. We want these awards and their recipients to be the benchmark for what excellence looks like. And we want to put these Australian innovators into the spotlight.

The 2022 InnovationAus Awards for Excellence black tie gala will be held at The Cutaway – a stunning venue at Sydney’s Barangaroo adjacent to the CBD – on November 17. It will be a huge celebration of ideas, and a meeting of the many tribes that make our innovation ecosystem.

You can book your tickets to this event here.

Congratulations to our 2022 finalists. We will be profiling these companies and their innovations over the coming weeks.
