Global consulting giant McKinsey will be paid more than $1.5 million over three months to help Services Australia ensure it has the “right building blocks in place” for its artificial intelligence usage.
McKinsey is currently working with the government department to support its work to uplift its strategic AI capability, on a contract running from 8 May to 7 August worth $1.68 million, equating to about $561,000 per month.
The contract, for “artificial intelligence design services”, comes with one option to extend to February next year.
