The Minns government shed almost $300 million more in spending on contractors and consultants last year in an effort to repair the state Budget and move more work in house.
The bulk of the reduced spend was on contractors, with $290 million slashed from contractor fees last year, financial statements show. Another $7 million was shaved off consultancy fees.
