Victoria Police has signed a mammoth new tech outsourcing deal with two IT firms as the organisation continues a five-year digital transformation journey.
The contract with DXC Technology and Kinetic IT was posted publicly in recent days and is worth nearly $185 million over three years, running to June 2028.
It is for “statewide end-to-end IT services”, and replaces a previous contract between Victoria Police and the same two companies which was eventually worth $508 million over a decade, and comes to an end at the end of the month.
