Salesforce hooks into another agency with $3m deal

Salesforce has landed another federal government contract, this time securing a $3.2 million deal with the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) as part of a Deloitte-led project for a new case management system.

The 17-month contract is the US software giant’s first major win at the department, which is heavily reliant on legacy systems for core business functions and has strong links to the Defence department.

Salesforce will work with systems integrator Deloitte to replace Veterans Affairs’ existing Veterans and Family Counselling Electronic Records Application system.
