The Albanese government is being urged to hold its contentious plan to automate key parts of the NDIS out of landmark reforms to the scheme expected to pass the Parliament this week.

Independent Senator David Pocock joined the Greens in opposing the government bill after a three-month inquiry that heard it will create unprecedented power to automate discretionary and evaluative decisions.
